In the summer of 2015 my sister and I had the opportunity to ride the Trans-Mongolian train line from Beijing to Saint Petersburg and take a quick trip to England. This photographic series contains memories of my time in these various places and emphasizes the transitory nature of train travel. While one can appreciate the beauty of other cultures, I am fundamentally an outsider. I wanted to capture the beauty of the places that I visited, while maintaining distance from the photographic subject through the angle of the shots and ghostly projections layered ontop of each other.
